Login Help
If you are using Windows 95/98 and it seems like your computer takes a
long time to verify your username and password, follow these directions:
Double-Click My Computer, then double-click
Dial Up Networking.
Use your right mouse button to click on your Inwave
connection, then (left) click on the word Properties at the bottom of
the menu.
Now click on the
Server Types tab. Under the
Advanced Options there is a checkbox Log onto network. If that is
checked, uncheck it. It refers to having your computer log onto a
Microsoft NT network and has nothing to do with the Internet.
Make sure
that the only box that is checked under Advanced Options is Enable
software compression. Click OK to save the change(s) you made.
